Kalyn Kahler at The Athletic reported that "between NIL money and endorsements, Caleb made millions in his final two seasons at USC, with multiple sources putting the number around $10 million."
This is what I envisioned NIL could do for a player who does everything right on the field and has the right team around him off the field. This is just the beginning. After the court ruling on last Friday where a federal judge barred the NCAA from enforcing its rules prohibiting name, image and likeness compensation for recruits by granting a preliminary injunction demanded by the states of Tennessee and Virginia.
Say whatever you will about Caleb Williams. In this wild market age of NIL where evaluations are usually overhyped and underperforming, Caleb Williams bet on himself and boosted his stock going into the 2024 NFL draft.
